Emma Willis kicked off the new series of Celebrity Big Brother on Tuesday night, with this year’s eclectic lineup strutting their way into the famous house.
Former TOWIE star Gemma Collins was the first to be greeted by Emma at the Elstree compound, after the host cheekily revealed that ‘absolutely everything’ has been locked away in the house including the furniture, kitchen, beds and the pool.
Strictly Come Dancing pro Kristina Rihanoff was also among the new crop of 16 housemates, as the dancer insisted she was taking on the challenge to show the public the real her.

The first eight hosuemates were addressed by Big Brother who ordered that the most decisive housemate should now stand up, John stood up so was nominated spokesperson.
He was told he must choose two housemates to send to a box to be locked away for a ‘frugal life without any luxuries’. Gallant John nominated himself before Darren volunteered much to the girls’ delight.
After Darren and John made their exit the remaining six housemates were ordered to the garden and told to stand by the post with their name on it.
John and Darren may have been in the box but they had the important decisions to make as they had to choose which three housemates’ suitcases to lock away, opting for the men – Christopher and Winston as well as Daniella, with John insisting ‘she can take it’.

As they take their cue to enter the House, the celebrities will descend down a majestic staircase, leading to glamourous rooms made up of rich opulent textures and packed with intriguing curiosities.
