A new breed of cookbooks from health-conscious chefs (and even Bear Grylls) using increasingly exotic superfoods – Himalayan pink salt, grass-fed buffalo or kombu seaweed, anyone? – means that cutting down on your calories is more expensive than ever.
So how do some of Britain’s favourite healthy chefs fare when it comes to home economics?
