She vowed to be the most outspoken panellist to date when she signed up to join Loose Women.
But Katie Price suffered an embarrassing faux-pas within the very first minute of her new job on the ITV chat show, when she mistakenly called Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne ‘Eddie Reymar’.
The 37-year-old star soldiered on with the live broadcast, but her gaffe didn’t go unnoticed by her fellow presenters, especially a flabbergasted Kaye Adams, who gazed at her in amazement.

‘That was a great start Katie price. Who is Eddie raymar?’, another queried.
Her awkward debut comes after she promised to be ‘the most outspoken of them all’ when she made a comeback as a regular Loose Women panellist.
The TV personality unveiled the news in a promo clip for the ITV show, which sees her dressed as her villainous Wicked Fairy alter ego from her recent pantomime.
Looking into her dressing-room mirror, she asks: ‘Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the most outspoken of them all?’ ‘You are, Katie,’ it replies.
She then warns: ‘You bet I am. I’ve got a wicked new job as a Loose Woman, so love rats watch out! Badly behaved celebs beware, because it’s all about opinion and I won’t be holding back!’

Oh, yes she is! She then warns: ‘You bet I am. I’ve got a wicked new job as a Loose Woman, so love rats watch out! Badly behaved celebs beware, because it’s all about opinion and I won’t be holding back!’
Price appeared twice as a guest panellist earlier this year, and will now feature once a week to discuss the stories of the day.
Clearly overjoyed with her new role, Katie said: ‘I’m so excited to be joining the Loose Women panel in January. I’ve always been a huge fan of the show because it’s about real female opinions.
‘I’m joining a fantastic team and, as usual, I won’t be holding anything back.’
Not one to bite her tongue! Katie made headlines when she appeared on the show earlier this month following her controversial opinion on the news that Ronnie Wood is to father twins at 68
In the clip for the show, she adds: ‘The Pricey’s always right’ – while her new co-panellists reply: ‘Oh no you’re not!’
Sally Shelford, editor of Loose Women, said: ‘Katie Price has all the ingredients of a brilliant Loose Women panellist: she’s frank, feisty and not afraid to voice her opinions, together with being a successful businesswoman and inspiring mum.
‘The Loose Women team can’t wait to welcome her as an official presenter in the new year.’
Say it like it is! Katie is famed for her outspoken nature with the reality star even outing her husband Kieran Hayler after she caught him cheating with her long-time friend Jane Pountney
Katie made headlines earlier this month for her controversial opinion on news that The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood was to father twins at the age of 68.
‘I think it’s totally wrong, totally selfish. He’s going out with a marital woman who is the same age as his daughter,’ Katie asserted.
‘That’s selfish. I’m not being funny but if he wasn’t Ronnie Wood would she really look at him? He’s not exactly a hunk to look at either is he? In my opinion I’d rather have a pillow over my face.’
