A New York State Supreme Court judge refused to release her from a Sony contract just weeks ago, which means she must continue to work for the same company as her alleged rapist.
But just because her musical career is on hold doesn’t mean Kesha can’t show off one of her many other talents.
The 29-year-old singer will be appearing as herself for a guest star spot on season four of ABC’s Nashville according to a Friday report from E! News.

The gossip site confirmed the news that she will be featured in a one episode cameo playing herself.
Kesha has been working on her acting chops as of late as she was featured on Jane The Virgin last year as the title character’s noisey neighbour.
She also appeared as Pizazz in last year’s Jem And The Holograms film which also starred Juliette Lewis, Molly Ringwald, Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott and Aurora Perrineau.

The blonde beauty is not the only musician set for a guest spot in Nashville as country stars Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett will be playing themselves according to a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter.
The news comes shortly after a report which claimed that Sony is set to drop Dr Luke, 42, from Sony amid outrage over the sexual assault claims by Kesha against him.
However as of Friday, the producer has still not been dropped officially which led to several of her fans gathering outside of Sony’s Manhattan headquarters to deliver petitions with over 411K signatures demanding that the label release Kesha from her contract and drop Dr Luke according to a Billboard report.

Kesha filed a lawsuit in October 2014 against him which claims he drugged and raped raped her, and also controlled and psychologically abused her from the time she moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue her music career to her breakthrough in 2010 and beyond.
In 2005, the pop singer dropped out of her Nashville high school before moving to Los Angeles where she signed her deal with Lukas and his company Kasz Money when she was 18.

According to her lawsuit, Kesha claims the producer raped her in October 2005 after they had attended a birthday party for Nicky Hilton, where she had been drinking, before he gave her GHB, what he called ‘sober pills’.
In the wake of a court’s decision to not free Kesha from her contract with Sony, a host of stars have flocked to get behind the fast growing #FreeKesha campaign joining Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga who have long expressed their support for the singer.
Adele became the latest big name to publicly support Kesha while picking up one of her four Brit Awards in London.
Tearing up as she accepted the gong, she said: ‘And I would like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha.’

Ariana Grande was the latest artist to send support Kesha’s way as she talked about her battle during an interview on 97.1 Amp Radio’s Daily Download.
The 22-year-old singer said: ‘I love Kesha. I worked with her when I was a lot younger. We’ve been friends, I support her, regardless of what’s going on.
The incredible double standards that we [women] face on a daily basis, in the industry and just in the world, it’s shocking. I would be so amused, and pardon me if this comes across as sexist, but I don’t think a male artist would be in this position right now. Sorry.
‘If I’m speaking out about something I’m passionate about, I’m willing to take the brunt for fighting for what I believe in, and my fellow women are definitely something that I will always be one of the first to speak up about.’
