His golden locks have been one of his stand-out features throughout his career as an actor.
But now gearing up for the release of his debut album, Laurence Fox was unrecognisable as he made an appearance at BBC Radio 2 on Friday.
However although it seemed the 37-year-old’s makeover was him taking inspiration from his wife Billie Piper’s hit single, Because We Want To, it was later revealed the new look is for a film role.

Ditching his usual clean shaven look, Laurence was pictured rocking a moustache as he greeted cameras while heading inside the studio.
The former Lewis star also debuted his freshly coloured brunette locks which were fashioned in a slick quiff.
Happy with his new look, Fox took to his Instagram page to share a picture, the caption alongside the selfie read: ‘The artist formerly known as Laurence Fox’.

Dressed casual for the radio appearance, Laurence teamed a black belted coat with a pair of jeans and distressed brown boots.
Explaining the thought process behind his new look, Fox revealed on Facebook the change in hair colour was due to a film role.
He said in a video uploaded to his wall: ‘Excuse the dodgy barnet and the peculiar moustache it’s for an acting job’.

Laurence’s debut album, which is titled Holding Patterns, is set to be released on February 5, 2016.
Fox first announced the release of the LP via his social media and he wrote: ‘I feel so lucky to be able to share it with you.
‘It’s amazing how much time and effort has gone into this record. I’ve loved every minute of it. I really hope you like it. Thank you for your support’.
