Back in June, Lena Dunham tweeted ‘I love you’ to Australian comedian and actor Josh Thomas, and rather unsurprisingly the feeling was mutual.
News Corp has now reported on Thursday that the Girls star wants to work with the 28-year-old Blackwater, Queensland, local, saying she ‘freaked out’ when she met him in December.
The actress, considered to be the comedic voice of her generation, or in her character Hannah’s words: ‘A voice of a generation,’ is now in regular email contact with the Please Like Me star.

Last year, Lena tweeted to Josh: ‘All I ever want is to be curled in bed watching Please Like Me. This show soothes my existential unrest. I love you @JoshThomas87’.

A collaboration with Golden Globe-winning Lena would no doubt result in international stardom for Josh, who has already won a total of eight awards in Australia.
