She was a fresh-faced beauty on Home and Away, but Samara Weaving was sporting a slightly different look on Tuesday.
Appearing battered and bloodied, the 23-year-old shared a snap from the makeup chair on the set of Ash vs Evil Dead, a comedy horror show now in its second season.
The Australian actress played the role of Heather in three episodes in the show’s first season, with fans expressing how happy they were she was returning.

Originally shared by the makeup artist, Hannah Wilson, the snap depicts exceptionally realistic effects, including a bloodied eye and what appear to be claw marks on Samara’s decolletage.
In the caption, Hannah wrote: ‘No matter what we did to her, she was still a stone cold fox’.
Samara, who is the niece of Hollywood actor Hugo Weaving, first found fame on Home and Away as the character of Indigo Walker from 2009 to 2013.

Samara will also appear in the 2017 sci-fi film, Monster Trucks, with Ice Age director Chris Wedge.
