- Still groggy from sedative post-dentist op, a grown man is convinced his head is going to fall off
- Video shows him whimpering in bed and clutching a roll of tape
- Woman is heard trying to comfort him – but to no avail
- He says he is scared to be left alone in case ‘no one hears his head fall off’
Dentist trips fill most people with dread – but one American guy became so spooked post-surgery that he thought his head was going to fall off.
The grown-man called Bart – who looks to be in his 30s – was filmed prostrate in bed clutching a roll of tape, just in case the worst happened.
A woman is heard trying to comfort him and says: ‘I want to make sure you have your tape. And what’s it for?’
Clearly still groggy from the sedative, Bart replies: ‘In case my head falls off.’
He adds that he’s not happy in bed because if his head falls off, ‘nobody will hear him’.
The woman then leaves to ‘let him rest’ and he is seen clutching the tape – which seems to be his only comfort – in bed next to him.
She tells him: ‘You’ll be okay. Your head is on, your neck is on. And you have your tape.’
The caption on the video explains that Bart had been to the dentist to get some routine cavity work done. It is not known where the man lives or what drugs he had been given at the dentist.
